From the Foster:

Elmo has only been with us a short while, and we are still getting to know him, but for now we can say that Elmo is a super sweet and fairly chill boy.  He does really well in his crate and sleeps in it through the night and hangs there in the day when we’re gone.  He doesn’t seem to be very demanding, though he loves a good neck or belly rub!!!   He has short bursts of play and then is perfectly content to chew on plastic bones like Nyla bones, or hang on his pillow, or even better, your lap!  Our resident dog is trying her best moves to get him to play and he will sometimes, but not always.  This may change as he gets more comfortable with us (and her), but he may be perfectly happy being an only dog, or with a dog that doesn’t need to play much.  Elmo can be a little shy and timid at times and in certain situations and our dog tends to be a little in your face kind of player so he may just need to gain some confidence.  

Elmo is working very hard on getting used to wearing a collar and being on the end of a leash (which includes pottying on a leash) and basic manners.  He does respond well to verbal corrections, but doesn’t need too many of them.  He does seem to be drawn to shoes, so you may want to make sure those are hidden!  

Elmo will make a great addition to many types of homes and families!
