From the Foster:

Apollo is your typical sweet, goofy, big baby of a dane. He gets along great with new people and adores other dogs of all sizes. A forever home with a doggy playmate would be a great fit for him! Apollo appears to be totally housebroken and has not had an accident or marked in our house at all, although he does not really give a sign when he wants to go out. He likes to be close to his people and know what’s going on, so he may whine if gated off from you. However, this may change as he settles in more, since he’s only been with us a few days. Apollo is good on a leash, but does not seem to have had much obedience training, so a forever family interested in working on his manners would be best given his large size. Despite seeming to have little training, Apollo is polite and eager to please. He does not require crating and doesn’t get into trouble when left alone while we're at work. He’s a very happy, well behaved guy who loves attention and has a ton of love to give. 

Note: Apollo came from a home with children and cats, so we expect he will do well with both, but since there are neither in his foster home we can’t offer specific details on his behavior with either. 

All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
