From the Foster:

Chavo is a rough and tumble kind of guy. Ready for adventure and action! He'd love a home with a fenced yard, another K9 friend that wants to wrestle and play as much as he does, and a human that wants to tug with him all day! Chavo wants every dog to love him, but his initial excitability is not appealing to all dogs so he's probably not a dog to take to the dog park. He loves toys and tugs. Chavo seems like a true tough guy, but when he slows down he is a cuddle bug and loves to chomp on his toy near you. Chavo is as loyal and loving as they come. In the few short weeks he has been here he is already bonded with me and he will certainly bond hard with whomever is lucky enough to get this handsome, loving clown. Chavo is not at all aggressive. He has been growled at many times by my little dogs and backs down immediately. With kids he is wonderful, but is a bit of a 'bull in a China shop' and you'll want to make sure the kids are big enough not to get knocked over on accident. Chavo needs work on leash manners and learning to be gentle. He has no idea he is a strong boy.
All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
