**Secondhand Hounds strongly discourages declawing cats. For more information on why SHH does not support this practice, please visit the following: http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/cats/tips/declawing.html http://www.peta.org/living/companion-animals/8-reasons-never-declaw-cats/
From the Foster: Maybe, a healthy beautiful young female cat who loves attention, cuddling, being petted and carried. She is very curious and could spend hours watching the outdoor activity from the window. While she is curious, she is extremely well behaved, she does not get into things, stays away from human food left out, has been using her litter box with no accidents and has not scratched at anything except for her scratch post and scratch pad. She is not a scaredy cat and rarely hides away, rather she loves being out in the open around people and ready to play with random toys and objects by pawing at them gently. Maybe appears quite versatile and could suit any person or family situation (family, single owner, any age....) She appears to do well with dogs as she finds our female lab interesting. Maybe will be spayed on December 6th then will be ready to go to her forever home. You won't be disappointed, she is the best pick of the litter! All cats are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities. If you live in MN, WI, IA, SD, ND, or IL and would like to meet/adopt this animal or anyone else, then please fill out an adoption application at http://secondhandhounds.org/adoption-information/ and the foster(s) will be in touch! Keep in mind that there may be multiple applicants applying for the same animal(s). You only need to complete 1 application for multiple animals that you're interested in. Note - We change an animal's listing to say "PENDING ADOPTION" when they already had a meet and greet with a family who plans to adopt that animal. We put "NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS" on a listing when an animal has multiple applications in and the foster has asked to stop accepting any more while they review the applications they've already received.
