Name: Lexi
Hi - my name is Lexi. I'm a sweet little girl who loves to be pet and give kisses. I get along well with other dogs - my best friends at my foster home are a little Chihuahua and a Pomeranian - we love to run, wrestle and nap together. My foster home has cats – I found out that if I bark at them, they run! I am potty trained on a schedule but I'm starting to give signals when I have to go outside (I stand by the door and look at you). I DO NOT like cold weather and will sit outside pretending I don't have to go but I really do . . . my foster mom puts a coat on me to help keep me warm.
I came from a hording situation so lots of things are new to me – but I’m learning fast. I have learned to sit when it’s time for dinner or treats, I can play fetch, and I LOVE cushy beds and blankets. At my foster house I have a fenced in area where I can go potty and run around. I’m not sure how I would do in a kennel when you go to work - but I do fantastic in a gated area. I don't bark much - I usually join in when my foster siblings are letting mom know someone is at the door – or when I see a cat - otherwise I'm quiet.
I love kids! I love to play with them, and once they rub my belly and we would be friends for life!
If they would rub my belly and we would be friends for life!
My foster mom says it would be nice if my new home had another dog to play with me – but not necessary if you will be my play buddy! My foster mom says I'm a wonderful girl and will make someone or family very happy.
I would really like to meet a family to call my own. I am such a happy dog and would love you so much!!
