From the Foster: Oh Hi!! Hey there!!! Whatcha up to??? My name is Hatley!! What's yours? I know it's polite to introduce myself and to ask others their name because my foster mommy is working on manners and how to be polite. It's just so hard because I get so excited!!! My mommy says she understands that I get the wiggles, but I still need to learn how to sit, and not jump, and to be a good boy. The good thing about teaching me manners is that I will try to do ANYTHING for food!! And this includes going into my kennel, which is where I stay during the day and sometimes at night. I also get to sleep with mommy in bed though. I am also very good at going potty outside. I haven't had one accident in the house! I live with a few other dogs so they also help show me the ropes and I always have someone to play with. Mommy says playtime is only for outside though, and that's fine because I also like to relax inside on my special chair. My foster's mom schedule isn't always consistent so I need to be able to go with the flow when it comes to routines. And that's been fine with me!! However, I get so excited when she comes home that I whine and bark!! For some reason, she only lets me out when I'm quiet though so i try to remember that and wait patiently. Here are a list of my favorite things: snuggling, watching Netflix while snuggling, playing with toys, dog parks, seeing how much of my face I can stick in my mastiff brothers mouth and snuggling some more. I also love hugs :)  Do you like to do any of those things??? Maybe I could become part of your family!! I love where I am, and I'm having so much fun learning new things (my mom calls it training and house rules) but I know it's only temporary!! I know that somewhere out there is my perfect family who will love me, and play with me and let me snuggle with them all the time!!! Maybe they will even take me to doggy class so I can find some more patience. I don't know where that is, but my mom says I need it. I help her look for it whenever she asks me where I put it, but I can never find it!! Maybe it's at your house?
