From the Foster:

My family and I have been blessed with having Sangria in our home for a while now.  She is a great family dog. She's very silly and likes to jump around and dance when the kids are.  She does need redirection sometimes if she gets too excited.  She's a big girl and very strong. She loves her toys; anything from tennis balls, to ropes, to bones...she's a chewer so you will always needs toys on hand otherwise she may resort to various house hold items.  She is house broken and has excellent ques for when she needs to go outside. We've only had 2 accidents in our home since we had her. One was on the first day we got her and one day was because I couldn't get her out in time.  She is a big softy who loves cuddling with me. We do allow her on our couch, so she has been spoiled that way.  She is crate trained but does not need it. We leave her house for up to 4 hours alone if needed.  She's a good eater, but does eat a lot!

Being a pit bull she has bonded with our family and loves being a 'family member'.  I think she would make a great addition to anyone's family with kids.  She does get walked once or twice a day and needs that at a minimum.  She is used to someone being home with her almost all the time so in a forever home I don't think she would do well if she was alone most of the day.

Sangria did have a previous partial tear to her ACL but with rest, it has healed. Caution will need to be used since this could reoccur in the future.    At this point the vet wants her to lose some weight and stay on some joint supplements.  This will be important for any adoptive family to keep up on to help prevent any more issues in the future!
