From the Foster:    

My name is Peetah but my mom sometimes calls me "Petey".  I'm pretty good with basic commands since I had a little training before coming to the rescue. I walk very nicely on a leash and am learning the command "leave it" when I get distracted. I stay in my crate when alone and at night to sleep.  It only took me a few days to be a good boy in my crate, and to not have any accidents inside!  
 
I have already met many different dogs and people and my mom says I have wonderful manners as long as I don't jump on humans.  I do get excited on walks and will pull towards things I want to see, usually dogs I want to play with - but I'm sure I'll get used to not doing that pretty quickly, too. 
 
I'm a big lover boy and love to hang out doing whatever my human does. Mom says I need to lose a few pounds but that's okay because I love exercise and play time.  I would love if my forever home had some doggy brothers or sisters for me to play with. Mom says I do require a human with time to help work on some obedience and stuff, because Im not 100% done learning!  

All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
