From the Foster:

At such a young age, you would think that Eeyore would be a hyper crazy dog that needs a lot of exercise. Well, he’s not! He is the handsomest, mellowest and laid back derpy dog you will ever meet and fall in love with. Don’t get me wrong, he does have his crazy moments but he does settle down after a few minutes. He’s great on walks, house and crate trained, and treat motivated. He does know the basic tricks like sit, stay, down, and leave it. Although he doesn’t jump too often, he is currently working on not jumping. He would be the perfect dog to any family.

He loves his people, kisses and cuddling and wants to be by them all the time when laying on the couch. He prefers to lay next to his human in bed verse staying in his own bed. He’s not much of a barker but when he is more comfortable with his human, he will bark at noises that sound like intruders coming in the house.

Loud noises like vacuums and lawn mowers are not his favorite things to hear so it’s best to keep him in a separate room when doing those chores.

He is fantastic with other dogs and does great at the dog park and day care. He is a bit interested in cats but with a cat savvy dog, he would do great. He is good with older kids but with younger kids, he sometimes does forget that they are little and he is big. So he might just push them over on accident.

All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
